Hello hello! I'm Amanda! I am from West Des Moines, Iowa and loving life here! I am a Christian, a wife, and a momma to a beautiful little 3 year old girl. I started using EOs in August 2016 when my best friend was telling me how she was using hers. I had always heard about essential oils, even Young Living, but had always thought it was a little weird and hippy-ish. But I was convinced to buy my PSK to start trying it out on my own. I was also intrigued by the business side of things since my husband and I were trying to figure out a way I could stay home with our daughter but still contribute to the family income.
Well, it didn't take long before I fell in love! The first oils I diffused were Stress Away and Lemon and it smelled like lemon drop candy. I was so impressed! I started using my oils for other things too like keeping sickness away, helping my daughter sleep in her big girl bed, helping my husband's sore muscles after working a hard day's work. I jumped on ER and was so excited to try more and more things. Now, I'm wondering why I waited so long to get started.
I decided to go "all in" for the business, and it was been so rewarding and so fun. I am challenged in new ways than in my part-time barista knowledge . I am also learning new strengths I didn't know I had. Young Living and the oil community have been so supportive and encouraging. I love that there is no immediate pressure into doing the business because Young Living stands by its product to actually help people live healthier and happier lives without synthetics. Which is one of the reasons why I started. I saw the effectiveness and knew other people needed it too.
